- It is a fact that Western Pennsylvania is full of both avid sports fans and beer lovers. A bar in Indiana, Pennsylvania seems to have this all figured out. Opening in 2012, Jimmy's has quickly become a local favorite for both students of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the full time residents of Indiana, PA. Jimmy's features plenty of seating and tables for large crowds, easily one of the most open floor-plans of any bar I have been in. The walls are covered in large, easy to see HD televisions, making for an awesome sports-watching experience. Bar tenders are attentive, even during busy hockey games and crowded weekend nights. Bar staff is also knowledgeable of both new drinks, and old classics. For beer snobs, Jimmy's is also a great place to check out small micro-brews with a great selection of bottles, as well as 3-4 taps specifically dedicated to a rotation of great brews. What sets Jimmy's apart from most great bars though is the food. Joined to Steel City Samiches gives this bar the upper hand. Specializing in the "Pittsburgh Style Sandwich," a sandwich with deli meat, fries, coleslaw, and a plethora of other options (Check out their menu at www.samiches.com). This winning combination of great atmosphere, staff, and food/drink makes this bar a favorite of THE BEER NUTZ. Check out Twisted Jimmy's website for more information about the great drink specials and the extensive food selection at www.twistedjimmys.com.
